Origin LNG project close to export

Origin Energy Limited (ASX:ORG) says ConocoPhillips has confirmed the start of production of liquefied natural gas at its Curtis Island facility with first cargo due for export by the end of the year.  
 
Origin is part of a joint venture, known as Australia Pacific LNG which has spent seven years to get to this stage with the final product headed to customers in Asia.
 
Origin has been delivering gas to the facility with partners Conoco Phillips and Sinopec working hard towards the final major milestone of export of the finished product. 
 
Origin Energy reported a net loss of $590 million for the 2015 financial year.
