(ASX:TLS) Retail Group Executive Dr Karsten Wildberger has resigned after less than 2 months in the role.
The telecommunications company told shareholders Dr Wildberger has resigned for personal reasons and will be returning to Germany whereby he will take an executive role outside of the telecommunications industry.
Dr Wildberger was appointed to the role in October, having joined Telstra in January 2013 as GMD Consumer.
Telstra said the company will announce succession arrangements for Telstra Retail in the near future.
Telstra recorded a net profit of $4.3 billion at 30 June 2015.
