Tassal Group Limited
(ASX:TGR) has been benchmarked as the world’s top seafood company in an international report that lists the world’s top 100 companies for sustainability reporting and transparency.
The Tasmanian salmon producer is the only Australian company listed in the 2015 seafoodintelligence.com report, achieving a corporate, social and environmental responsibility rating of ‘excellent’.
Tassal says only three other companies in the Top 100 achieved this level.
The Seafood Intelligence report provides stakeholders, retailers, analysts and investors with a snapshot of the 2014 and 2015 global seafood industry, available data and trends.
Tassal Group reported a net profit of $49.99 million at 30 June 2015.
