Bellamy’s Australia Limited
(ASX:BAL) say they have entered a strategic manufacturing agreement with Fonterra.
In a five-year deal worth millions of dollars Fonterra will produce a range of new baby nutritional powders at the its manufacturing plant in southeast Victoria.
Bellamy’s says the arrangement adds significant additional capacity to meet the growing demand for certified organic infant formula for both Australian and international markets.
The Fonterra facility will undergo organic certification.
Bellamy’s reported a net profit of $9.07 million for the 2015 financial year.
