Qantas Airways
(ASX:QAN) says passenger demand in October was up by 4.8 per cent leading to a 1.3 per cent rise in revenue compared to October last year.
Domestic capacity was down 2.5 per cent on October last year due to softness in the resource markets of Western Australia and Queensland.
International capacity was up by 6 per cent thanks to strong performance in the Asia routes.
Qantas reported a net profit of $560 million for the 2015 financial year.
