CIMIC Group’s
(ASX:CIM) construction company Leighton Contractors has been awarded a contract by the Australian Department of Defence.
The company will deliver the $274 million RAAF Base Williamtown Redevelopment Stage 2 Project in the Hunter region of New South Wales.
The project will be delivered over six years.
CIMIC Group reported a net profit of $258.2 million at 30 June 2015.
