NetComm Wireless signs US agreement

Company News

NetComm Wireless Limited (ASX:NTC) has signed a master purchase agreement with an unnamed large US-based telecommunications carrier.

NetComm said the agreement concerns the supply of NetComm’s fixed-wireless devices required to connect households and businesses to a fixed-wireless rural broadband network which will be built by that carrier.

Due to a confidentiality agreement in place, NetComm Wireless said it is unable to provide specifics in relation to the agreement.

Managing Director and CEO David Stewart said the agreement builds on Netcomm’s success with Ericsson in delivering a similar service to Australia’s national broadband network.

NetComm Wireless recorded a net profit of $2.46 million at 30 June 2015.
