Blue Sky Alternative Investments Limited
(ASX:BLA) Managing Director Mark Sowerby told the conference ‘Blue Sky is an ASX listed funds management business founded in 2006, focused on the four major alternative asset classes: Private equity and venture capital, private real estate, real assets such as water entitlements, water infrastructure and agribusiness and hedge funds.’
Mr Sowerby outlined the company’s key strategic achievements, such as publically listing in 2012. The move enhanced transparency for investors and created the opportunity to form a ‘public’ track record.
Blue Sky Alternative Investments recorded underlying net profit after tax for GY15 of $10.4 million, up from $6.2 million in FY14.
