Maquarie Atlas Roads
(ASX:MQA) is selling the lease rights to the Chicago Skyway in Illinois for $2.8 billion.
A consortium of three major Canadian pension plans will take over the company that holds the original 99 year deal to run the Skyway.
MQA will make around US$100 million for its 22.5 per cent interest in the deal with financial close expected in the first quarter of 2016.
Macquarie Atlas Roads made a net profit of $40.28 million for the 2015 financial year.
