SomnoMed Limited
(ASX:SOM) has announced that its subsidiary SomnoMed Canada acquired the business of Strong Dental in Ontario for C$700,000.
The owner, Mr Patrick Strong has entered into a consultancy agreement and he will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of Somnomed Canada Inc.
Mr Strong is the inventor of the SUAD device, which is an oral device for the treatment of sleep disordered breathing conditions.
These devices are well-known amongst dentists treating obstructive sleep apnoea patients.
SomnoMed Limited reported a net profit of $533,000 at 30 June 2015.
