Doray Minerals Limited
(ASX:DRM) has announced it was awarded “Australian Mine of the Year” for its Andy Well Gold Mine at the Australian Mining Prospect Awards on Friday night.
Doray’s Managing Director Mr Allan Kelly says the award recognises the hard work of a multitude of people who contribute every day to the Andy Well Gold Project.
The company says the project will continue to grow into a significant, new high-grade gold camp, with eventual mine life well in excess of the original 3.7 years indicated in the 2012 Bankable Feasibility Study.
The Andy Well project is located about 45 kilometres north of Meekatharra in the Murchison region of Western Australia.
Doray Minerals reported a net profit of $19 million at 30 June 2015.
