Alexium International Group Limited
(ASX:AJX) says it has extended its 12 month collaboration with New York-listed Israel Chemicals (NYSE:ICL).
Alexium has also been awarded a further US$232,000 in a funding grant from South Carolina Research Agency.
The initial 12 month project was seeking to develop flame retardant products for speciality fabrics and the military in a market with revenue potential of US$150 million.
Alexium did not say how long the extension was for.
Alexium reported a net loss of $11.76 million for the 2015 financial year.
