Pro Medicus Limited
(ASX:PME) has signed a five year deal worth $11 million with Allegheny Health Network.
US subsidiary Visage Imaging will provide the Pro Medicus Visage 7 technology for primary diagnoses to eight hospitals under the AHN banner.
The deal will encompass clinical distribution of diagnostic images to around 2,800 doctors in the AHN network in an integrated care portfolio of over 2000 beds.
The deal was dependent on the technology’s ability to deliver any-sized images to be distributed to a huge base of referring physicians and provides plenty of upside in the wider health sector.
Pro Medicus reported a net profit of $3.22 million for the 2015 financial year.
