Syrah Balama project on track

Syrah Resources Limited (ASX:SYR) says it is progressing well with its Balama project in Mozambique.
 
The enterprise is slated to be the largest producer of graphite in the world and is positioning itself to meet an expected increase in demand from lithium battery applications. 
 
The construction licence has been approved and bulk earthworks for the processing plant and access roads. 
 
The project is on track for production in the first quarter of 2017. 
 
Syrah Resources reported a net loss of $3.71 million for the 2014 calendar year.
