Alliance Aviation Services
(ASX:AQZ) has signed a new five year contract with BHP Billiton Olympic Dam.
The deal means Alliance will continue to provide flights between Adelaide and Olympic Dam beyond the 2016 expiry of the current contract through to June 2021.
It’s been a challenge for Alliance to maintain revenue while developing a new customised delivery model for the service which would reduce costs to Olympic Dam.
Alliance also extended contracts for its services between Perth and Karratha as well as winning new and expanded contracts between Perth, Newman and Port Hedland.
Alliance reported a net loss of $36.58 million for the 2015 financial year.
