DrillSearch Energy Limited
(ASX:DLS) has appointed Chief Operating Officer Walter Simpson as CEO effective immediately.
Mr Simpson has been Acting CEO since July after joining the company in March this year.
He has more than 30 years experience in the global oil and gas industry and is well placed to lead the company through a new phase of growth despite challenging market conditions.
Drillsearch reported a net loss of $8 million for the 2015 financial year.
