Alexium International Group Limited
(ASX:AJX) says it has received its first large scale production order from a major US bedding customer.
The order is for the company’s new Alexiflam Fire Retardant finish for mattress covers.
Around 1.5 tonnes of the chemical innovation product is expected to be used in the deal and Alexium expects continued monthly orders of a similar size for the product.
The company is pleased with the development of the product from trial to purchase orders in just 4 months.
Alexium reported a net loss of $11.76 million for the 2015 financial year.
