Sino reports gas sales delay

Company News

Sino Gas & Energy Holdings Limited (ASX:SEH) says there will be delays on first gas sales from the Linxing Central Gathering Station.

Start-up was expected by mid-year however a recent unrelated industrial accident has prompted China’s National Safety Committee to ask for full safety audits to be conducted on all operations.

Sino also says there have also been activity restrictions in provinces neighbouring Beijing ahead of the World War II Commemorative Parade later this week. These restrictions mean a safety audit of a third party pressure station connected to the Yuji pipeline has not been completed.

First gas sales are now anticipated by mid-September.

Sino Gas & Energy reported a net profit of $833,000 for the 2014 calendar year.
