Air New Zealand
(ASX:AIZ) has recorded a 24 percent increase in net profit of $NZ327 million.
The company reported a net profit result of $NZ263 million the previous year.
The national air carrier acknowledged favorable fuel prices and says a boost to passenger numbers has strengthened the company’s outlook.
Air New Zealand intends to pay a bonus to its 8,000 staff not on other incentive schemes of up to $NZ1,400.
The company will pay a fully imputed ordinary dividend of 9.5 cents per share taking the total dividend to NZ16 cents per share.
