Amcor Limited (ASX: AMC) has posted a strong increase in net profit for the full year to June 30.
The global packaging company reported a net profit of $US680 million, a 35 per cent increase on the previous corresponding period.
However Amcor reported a slight dip in revenues, down 3.5 per cent on last year’s figure of $US9.61 billion.
The company says it’s pleased with the results and will undertake a number of acquisitions in Asia and South America.
Amcor will pay an unfranked dividend of US21 cents, bringing the total dividend to US40 cents.
