Auckland Airport lifts revenue by 7%

Auckland International Airport Limited (ASX:AIA) says a 5 per cent lift in passenger movements has helped drive a 7 per cent jump in revenue. 
 
Strong passenger growth and good performance from the property development business have resulted in a 3.5 per cent increase in total profit after tax to $223.5 million. 
 
Profit share from Queenstown Airport was up by 26 per cent offsetting a 10 per cent drop in North Queensland Airports due to a softer Australian economy.  
 
A final dividend of 7.3 cents per share will be paid. The total dividend of 14.6 cents per share reflects a 13 per cent increase in underlying earnings per share.
