Digital services company Spark New Zealand Limited
(ASX:SPK) has seen its full year net profit dip 18.5 per cent to $NZ373 million stressing last year’s figure was boosted by the sale of AAPT.
The New Zealand based company says the underlying profit figure would have represented a 16 per cent gain when looking at continuing operations and come in ahead of expectations.
The company EBITDA was up 2.8 per cent to $962 million with growth in the mobile sector looking strong albeit amid strong competition.
The company says a return to long term sustainable growth in free cash flow, revenue and earnings is realistic and achievable.
A total dividend of $NZ0.20 will be paid.
