Sydney Airports
(ASX:SYD) has recorded a net profit of $134.6 million for the first half of financial year 2015.
The result is a 150 per cent increase on last year’s figures.
Total revenue increased 4.6 per cent in the first half to $594.7 million, with growth across all businesses.
The airport says international passenger numbers for July were very strong increasing 4.7 per cent on the previous corresponding period; domestic numbers were up 4 per cent.
Sydney Airport has also announced a landmark 10-year deal with Qantas, whereby the airline will transfer control of terminal three in Sydney back to the airport from the start of September.
