Telstra TV streaming service to launch

Telstra Corporation Limited (ASX:TLS) will launch a new streaming service designed for Australian consumers named Telstra TV. 
 
Australia’s largest telco says the service will become available through a partnership with a streaming platform, Roko. 
 
The service will be available for purchase in September and plans to offer customers subscription video on demand services including Presto, Stan and Netflix. 
 
Telstra says the service will also include a selection of TV catch up services and the latest new release movies from BigPond Movie. 
 
Telstra TV will add to Telstra's existing entertainment services, which include TBox and Foxtel from Telstra products.
 
Telstra Corporation reported a net profit of $2.11 billion in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
