Shares in ASG Group Limited
(ASX:ASZ) rose almost 14 per cent yesterday after announcing a multi-million dollar contract award.
The provider of information technology services says the major managed services contract is with international contractor CIMIC Group Limited
(ASX:CIM).
ASG advises the initial base contract value is more than $35 million over five years, excluding projects and service extension options.
CEO Geoff Lewis says this engagement is significant for ASG given it was highly competitive against a number of Tier 1 low-cost offshore providers.
ASG Group reported a net profit of $5.71 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
