Transpacific appoints Vik Bansal as new CEO

Transpacific Industries Group Limited (ASX:TPI, NZE:TPI) has appointed Vik Bansal as chief executive officer two months after its last chief said he would step down. 
 
Outgoing boss Robert Boucher announced his intention in May to leave in June and return to the US for personal reasons.
 
Transpacific says incoming CEO Mr Bansal is a highly experienced executive with a proven track record of leading organisations through business transition and improvement.
 
Mr Bansal will step into the top job on August 3 and will also join the Transpacific board.
 
Transpacific Industries Group reported a net loss of $33.4 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
