Seven West Media Limited’s
(ASX:SWM) Pacific Magazines division is set to resume the publishing of three titles after New Zealand Media and Entertainment decided not to renew its licence.
The media group says the licence for the New Zealand editions of New Idea, that’s life! and Girlfriend will revert to Pacific Magazines from the end of September.
Pacific Magazines says the New Zealand market is vitally important for the business and it is carefully examining options to continue to publish locally.
Pacific Magazines has stated its commitment to the market and maintaining local knowledge and editorial content as the titles transition back to management.
Seven West Media reported a net loss $993.6 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
