Ten H1 prime time audience grows 15%

Company News

Ten Network Holdings (ASX:TEN) has posted a 15 per cent increase in its total people audience in the first half of the television ratings season.

The media company says it was the only commercial primary channel to lift its prime time audience during the period.

TEN believes its best first half audience performance since 2012 was driven by the success of programs such as MasterChef, Family Feud and The Project.

CEO Hamish McLennan says the results are due to Ten’s clear focus on its core audience of people aged between 25 - 54 and a disciplined and selective investment in content.

Ten Network Holdings booked an interim net loss of $261.33 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
