Orion expands in Southeast Asia

Company News

Orion Health (ASX:OHE) has expanded in Southeast Asia with two strategic deals in Vietnam.

The New Zealand-based healthcare software company will supply its Enterprise software solution to the Vinmec International Hospital in Hanoi. The hospital will use the system for the storing and retrieval of medical records of its patients including the many medical tourists it receives.

The second deal is a partnership with VIT Corporation to roll out eHealth solutions to a number of hospitals in the public sector with a longer-term expansion on the cards.

The deals are a win for the recently-listed Orion which is rebalancing its business in the wake of a downturn in North American performance.

Orion Health reported a half yearly net loss of $59.65 million for the 2015 financial year.
