Tassal extends supply deal to Aldi

Salmon farmer Tassal Group Limited (ASX:TGR) says its extended its supply agreement with Woolworths and will begin supplying Aldi stores.
 
The company will supply Woolworths for a further three years in Queensland, NSW and Western Australia and partly through the De Costi Seafoods brand.
 
For Aldi the company’s fresh salmon will replace imported supplies and will distribute to NSW and Queensland through De Costi.
 
CEO Mark Ryan says the deals further show how Tassal and De Costi can successfully work together in providing improved supply. 
 
Tassal reported a net profit of $30.2 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
