Telstra Corporation
(ASX:TLS) has received final approval for its revised NBN migration plan and new agreements now come into place.
The ACCC has approved the new plan which is intended to better protect consumers from premature disconnection of their phone and internet services as they migrate to the National Broadband Network.
However, the ACCC warns customers to place an order for the NBN service to be connected before the current services disconnection date provided for each region to avoid interruption.
The ACCC also urged consumers to become familiar with the roll out plan of the NBN in their area by visiting its website.
Telstra made an interim net profit of $2.1 billion for the 2015 financial year.
