TNG signs MOU on solar energy plan

Company News

Mineral explorer TNG Limited (ASX:TNG) has signed an MOU with Energy Made Clean regarding EMC’s solar systems for use at its Mount Peake Vandium project.

The company says EMC will help it evaluate the most efficient energy supply options and the potential of a solar system to run with a vanadium redox battery.

TNG hopes a solar system backed up with batteries would help cut costs at the mine considerably.

Managing Director Paul Burton says the work ties in well with the power supply scenarios that are part of the Mount Peake Feasibility study.

TNG reported a net loss of $2.7 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
