Yowie Group Limited
(ASX:YOW) has welcomed the full US rollout of its Yowie confectionery product across Walmart Stores Inc. (NYSE:WMT) from August.
The Perth based brand licensing company advises the product will be placed in about 4,300 stores in prime in-store locations for impulse purchasing.
Yowie says the rollout is a result of a consistent sales performance starting from a 50 store trial in Texas in September last year and extending in March this year.
Walmart expects to issue purchase orders by the end of this month to allow completion of distribution to its distribution centres by the end of next month.
Yowie Group reported a net loss of $996,000 in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
