Primary Health Care Limited
(ASX:PRY) is pursuing a tax refund from the Australian Taxation Office.
The health care provider has been advised payments made by the company for medical and healthcare practises in FY10 are tax deductable.
As a result the company expects to receive a cash refund of about $18 million and says it is finalising applications for similar deductions for the tax years FY11-FY14.
If granted the company estimates it will be due a total cash refund for the FY10 to FY14 period of about $130 million and up to $190 million for the FY03 to FY14 period.
Primary Health Care reported a net profit of $53.37 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
