Sirius agrees $114M contract for Nova Nickel

Sirius Resources (ASX:SIR) has signed an EPC contract with GE Engineering Services worth some $114 million.
 
The minerals explorer says GE Engineering will design and construct the mineral processing plant for its Nova Nickel Project.
 
Work will begin immediately and should be completed by November next year.
 
The company says it’s also signed a contract with Future Power WA to construct overhead power lines at the nickel project worth $3 million. 
 
Sirius reported a net loss of $4.5 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
