Freedom ties up $16.6M NSW acquisition

Freedom Foods Group Limited (ASX:FNP) has tied up a $16.6 million acquisition of about 66,000 square metres of land at Ingleburn in south west Sydney.
 
The health foods company says the land is for its proposed new integrated Aseptic production and logistics facility. 

The new facility is expected to be constructed on the land and provide expansion in capacity and efficiency improvements. 

Construction of a first stage warehouse facility is expected to start next month and construction of the adjacent processing and filling facility is due to start in the first half of FY16. 

Freedom Foods Group reported a net profit of $55.19 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
