Burson pushes ahead with store expansion

Burson Group Limited (ASX:BAP) is pushing ahead with its store expansion with its first auto parts store in Western Australia due to open today. 
 
The distributor of automotive parts plans to open thee more stores in Perth and an extra seven stores across New South Wales, Queensland and the ACT in the next two months. 
 
The new stores are a mixture of greenfield sites and acquisitions and will bring Burson’s store network to 133 stores by the end of July with stores in every state and territory. 
 
CEO Darryl Abotomey has described the developments as a milestone and says the company is well ahead of its timeline to create a network of 175 stores by June 2019. 
 
Burson Group reported a net profit of $10.86 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
