Domino’s Pizza adds 3,000 jobs to meet demand

Company News

Domino's Pizza Enterprises Limited (ASX:DMP) is adding 3,000 new jobs, the biggest intake in its history, ahead of an anticipated increase in deliveries.

The pizza maker expects volumes to grow when it introduces its GPS Driver Tracker technology across all 600 stores in Australia in July and New Zealand in August.

The GPS Driver Tracker will allow customers to track pizza deliveries directly from the store to their door while also keeping delivery drivers safe.

CEO and Managing Director Don Meij says the company has seen an incredible response to the GPS Driver Tracker in the test markets.

Domino's Pizza Enterprises reported a net profit of $31.06 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
