CSR Limited
(ASX:CSR) has posted a stronger net and underlying profit over the year to the end of March.
The building products manufacturer boosted its net profit by 43 per cent to $125.5 million.
CSR advises the prior year benefited from a $33 million pre tax reduction in asbestos liabilities.
On an underlying basis the company’s profit surged 82 per cent while its revenues rose 16 per cent to more than $2 billion.
A final dividend of 11.5 cents per share has been declared, taking the full year pay out to 20 cents per share.
