Nufarm Limited
(ASX:NUF) has appointed Greg Hunt as its new Managing Director and CEO, effective immediately.
The agricultural chemicals supplier says the appointment was made following a global search for a successor after long-serving chief Doug Rathbone stepped down.
Mr Hunt has been acting as CEO since Mr Rathbone’s departure in February and is also the former Managing Director of Elders Rural Services.
Nufarm Chairman Donald McGauchie says Mr Hunt has demonstrated strong leadership and progressed the company's change and performance improvement.
Nufarm reported a net profit of $23.1 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
