Westpac Banking Corporation
(ASX:WBC) has announced Craig Dunn will join its board as an independent non-executive director from the beginning of June.
The bank advises Mr Dunn has more than 20 years experience in financial services, including as CEO of AMP Limited
(ASX:AMP) from 2008 to 2013.
Westpac Chairman Lindsay Maxsted says wealth management is a key growth area for the bank.
Mr Maxsted believes Mr Dunn will support this strategy and complement the board’s current skills and experience.
Westpac Banking Corporation reported a net profit of $7.62 billion in the 2014 financial year.
