Vmoto posts strong start to 2015

Vmoto Limited (ASX:VMT) has posted a strong start to the year despite the period usually being its slowest due to the Chinese New Year festival in February. 
 
The scooter manufacturer says unit sales grew 37 per cent to 19,462 in the first quarter of the year. 
 
Vmoto advises a number of significant old and new customers have visited the factory seeking to enter into new orders or agreements for its electric two-wheel vehicle products. 
 
Looking ahead Managing Director Charles Chen says the company looks forward to progressing these and other strategic opportunities over the coming months. 
 
Vmoto reported a net profit of $476,000 in the 2014 calendar year.
