Generation Healthcare buys RSL homes

Generation Healthcare REIT (ASX:GHC) say they will undergo a $52 million equity raising to fund three new properties. 
 
The fund has acquired a portfolio of three residential aged care properties from RSL Care Limited for $46 million.
 
The properties will be leased back to RSL Care for and initial 20 year term. 
 
Generation Healthcare also says it has an in-principle agreement with St John of God Healthcare for its $120 million private hospital in Casey, Victoria. 
 
Generation also lifted FY16 earnings per unit guidance by 3.5 per cent. 
 
Generation Healthcare reported a net profit of $7.9 million for the first six months of the 2016 financial year.
