(ASX:JIN) CEO and Founder Mike Veverka presents at the ASX Investor Series in Sydney.
The lottery site operator’s presentation shows internet lotteries are a $250 billion worldwide industry, suitable for online sales and attractive to younger demographics.
Mr Veverka says less than 1 per cent of lottery tickets sold today around the world are on the internet and some countries have already reached 30 per cent internet penetration.
The company claims lotteries are going mobile with 3rd generation apps in the market and 4th generation due for release this year in Australia and Germany.
Jumbo Interactive’s goal is to be at the forefront of this growth trend and says “The future of lotteries is online”.
The presentation highlights the company’s expansion and plans to build infrastructure to facilitate growth and also looks at its balance sheet and cash position.
