ResMed Inc.
(ASX:RMD) has reported a 6 per cent jump in third quarter revenue to $422.5 million. Taking currency fluctuations into account this translates as a 13 per cent increase.
The sleep apnea device maker says strong demand for its new flow generator from the US, Europe and the Asia Pacific continue to drive double digit revenue growth.
Gross profit was down slightly on declines in average selling prices and the impact of foreign exchange rate movements.
The company also spent $20.3 million on share repurchases.
Resmed reported a net profit of $213 million for the first half of the 2015 financial year.
