Mining services provider Ausdrill Limited
(ASX:ASL) has scored a contract from gold miner Perseus Mining Limited
(ASX:PRU).
The contract is expected to generate about $US223 million in revenue over the following five years.
Under the award Ausdrill will provide open pit mining services at the Edikan Gold Mine – Eastern Pits operations in Ghana, West Africa.
Ausdrill has been providing mining services to Perseus for almost five years and the latest contract is for three years with options to extend.
Ausdrill reported a net loss of $177.39 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
