Brambles confirms FY profit growth forecast

Company News

Brambles Limited (ASX:BXB) says it is on track to deliver profit growth over the full year despite disappointing third quarter sales growth.

The supply chain logistics company expects to boost its annual underlying profit up to 13 per cent to between $US1.055 billion and $US1.085 billion.

CEO Tom Gorman says the forecast reflects the offsetting of cost pressures through the ongoing delivery of efficiency programs.

Brambles reported a net profit of $347.84 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
