Navitas Limited
(ASX:NVT) has entered into a joint venture with University of Western Sydney to open an international college in Western Sydney.
The global education services provider says the 50:50 JV will establish a pathway college for international students on the University’s premises in Parramatta CBD.
Both groups will commit up to $2.5 million each to establish the college which will be named UWS International College and start teaching in October this year.
CEO Rod Jones says the JV will provide a solid base for a successful international pathway college in a region currently under serviced for international students.
Navitas reported a net profit of $31.51 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
