SCA Property buys Whitsunday Shopping Centre

Shopping Centres Australasia Property Group Limited (ASX:SCP) has inked a deal to buy the Whitsunday Shopping Centre for $46.98 million. 
 
The real estate investment trust says the centre is located 1.2 kilometres from the tourist precinct of Airlie Beach in Queensland. 
 
SCA Property has paid a deposit of $2.35 million, the balance of the purchase price is expected this Friday and the acquisition will be funded through existing cash and debt facilities. 
 
Just last week the company tied up the $18 million sale of the Margaret River Shopping Centre in Western Australia. 
 
Shopping Centres Australasia Property Group reported a net profit of $98.2 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
