Vmoto shares jump on FY15 profit prediction

Company News

Shares in Vmoto Limited (ASX:VMT) have jumped more than 20 per cent in morning trade after predicting strong profit growth this year and beyond.

The scooter manufacturer expects to deliver annual revenue of more than $69 million and net profit between $5 million and $7 million in 2015.

Vmoto has partly attributed the anticipated result to growing production and distribution and an increased focus on higher margin international sales.

Managing Director Charles Chen says Vmoto is seeing the results of its strategy and operational focus and the company is now at its scale inflection point.

Vmoto reported a net profit of $476,000 in the 2014 calendar year.
